The first version was fantastic for what it did, and it was so original in its conception. Although this may only be a "HD-ified, tweak-ified, and stream line-ified" update of the original, it's still an awesome game and so great to see this back. Those in the know missed you! EDIT: And for those who don't, it all started here. Vexorg Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2009 273 0 0 iPhone Developer http://softwarebeyondlimits.com/ #9 Vexorg, Mar 19, 2015 It's great to see that people remember and enjoyed the original. iOS game development is a hobby and passion of mine but it's always a challenge to balance it with work that pays the bills. So I'm so glad I was finally able to finish up this project and get it out to everyone to enjoy! Vexorg Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2009 273 0 0 iPhone Developer http://softwarebeyondlimits.com/ #12 Vexorg, Mar 19, 2015 The nice bonus is Chain Link Pro 2 includes Chain Pattern for free once you unlock it at chain rank level 5. One cool feature I included in the game is a video replay using Everyplay. Here's one of my best high score in the 60 second hyper chain game: https://everyplay.com/videos/14035685 macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #13 macplash, Mar 19, 2015 In the game's description it says:"Rock out to your own music from your media library as you play." There's no music in the gameplay trailer. Why? Does it mean there's no music at all in the game by default? I'm eager to hit the "buy" button, but I don't have any music on my iPad and the gameplay seems kinda hollow without it... Thanks in advance for clarifying. Vexorg Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2009 273 0 0 iPhone Developer http://softwarebeyondlimits.com/ #15 Vexorg, Mar 19, 2015 Hi macplash, Yes, gameplay sound is the same as the trailer. While certain power-ups trigger short music pieces, there's no soundtrack to the game. I find most people disable in-game music anyways because it gets too repetitive so I went with the choice of bring-your-own-music. But I will consider it for the next update if I can find the right music that fits this type of game. Thanks for the feedback. Even really good game music just grates on me after a while so, almost invariably, when I first play a game I kill the music ASAP but still want all of the sound effects. brerlappin Well-Known Member Feb 10, 2009 722 30 28 #17 brerlappin, Mar 23, 2015 Any chance of iCloud sync for progress? macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #18 macplash, Mar 24, 2015 Honestly, I'm still on the fence with this game. I was sure to wait for the update with some in-game music, but than went to the App Store with "it's just a buck", but there's this first part and I like it from screenshots more, it seems more colorful or something. Also, there are clearly different backgrounds, are they in this game as well? So far I've seen just one. And the last question, what kind of IAPs are there?
