This happened to NFL 2010 after the first week it was out. Do you think gameloft will do the same for this game? I've been waiting for this Gang$tar a long time but I'm hesitant to buy it after the NFL 2010 price drop.
NFL only got a price drop because it did not sell good at launch (it wasnt even in the top 100), this game is selling good. So no
NFL 2010 had the impending release of EA Madden with which to contend. Gang$tar has only the legacy titles of Payback and CJS, over which it excels. I assume it will stay at this price for a while (#54 in app store now, and will probably climb once Gameloft places an iTunes ad.)
Why ask a question with no certain answer? No one here knows. All I can say with certainty is YES it will drop in price eventually. If you want it bad buy it now otherwise just wait. If you can wait a week you can wait longer for a price drop (if you are waiting it means you don't want to pay the $6.99 price). Simple as that.
Game buying strategy is based on the following: Pricing and the companies near history with its price fixing... That being said, this game will come down in 3 weeks, I will bet any .99 cent game in the Appstore on this. Munkie!
I hope it gets dropped to 3.99 soon. Perfect price. Even though it should of been 9.99 in the beginning anyway.
My guess is that the price will drop but not for another 2 months. Game is selling way too well right now and will continue to for at least 6 more weeks.
Gameloft decided to go out on a limb here and start it off at the sale price of $6.99 to get sales instead of making people angry going from $9.99 then to $6.99 when it was struggling. So no it wont have a price drop Just my guess anway
