Yeah, there's definitely something going on with the releases / the App Store in general this week. A whole lot more games should be out before the US release, so keep watch. I'll check back in the morning.
Yep, without a doubt apple is behind this problem. I have not once ever seen a finished/submitted chillingo game ever be late.. And especially not 2. Chillingo are always spot on with their release dates, and there's no way 2 chillingo titles could mysteriously not be ready. It's going to be bad for apple though..looks like only one game made it through, that monsters one... Which means theyre not going to have a very big new/featured list this week..and there's only really one game eligible for gotw. And apple will probably lose a fair bit of money from their usual Thursday-rush new release hunters. But because of the fact that apple revenue is on the line, maybe just maybe, they might be hauling azz right now trying to go through all the submissions and have them released before the weekly apple featured list comes out.. But it's doubtful since most games state a specific release date, and they can't really release it out of those boundaries without permission.. So there either going to really have to haul ass like speeding Gonzales to have them released within like..9 hours to keep the 25th date release. Hmm wishful thinking
Yeah, honestly if it weren't for the missing Chillingo releases, I wouldn't have thought something was up. >_>
I don't think Chillingo is releasing anything this week. The developer of 'This Could Hurt' stated it is coming out in 2 weeks. Level 8, the developer of 'Robbery Bob' made an announcement on their website that strongly hinted that there game is being released this week. I hope I'm wrong.
Usually what shows as coming on the Chillingo site comes Wednesday that week. So its weird that not one but two of these games haven't hit the store :/. Something to do with WWDC tickets?
Don't see Inotia 4 or LHP: Y 5-7. Just grabbing SpellSword for now until Apple's new featured list is out tomorrow afternoon. Good thing MvC2 also came out this week.
Got Spellsword (amazing), Ballistic SE (wonderfull) and Ski Safari (good) this week. 1 more game than normal. All enjoyable. And add to that two IAPs for Cubis Creatures... expensive week for sure in iOS, but all good games EDIT: And got Fireball SE too
Animal Trackers (Release Date: Thursday 3rd May 2012) Hi everyone After two and a half years of handcrafting, I'm pleased to announce that my game 'Animal Trackers' will be released on the App Store on Thursday 3rd May 2012. There's a thread for it in the 'Upcoming iPhone and iPod touch games' forum: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=110680 If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Dave Thursday 3rd of May is Animal Trackers Day!
Bar oasis 1.5 (free) should be released this week. (In approval) Brainsss is launching in the Apple AppStore on May 3rd. (http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=124176&page=2)
Wow no games this week? Theres a first Seems to be a lot of games in the works but none ready for release quite yet-Walking Dead, Nova 3, etc
Yeah, I'm thinking May will be a more exciting month than how it's starting. The Chillingo games that didn't come out last week should come out this week and quite a lot of games are on the cusp of a release, but I'm not certain when they will come. I'll keep an eye out for the surprise releases this week. Hoping for something to spice up the week.
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=133275 Seriously hoping this will be out in the US tomorrow, holy crap. Literally makes last week's MvC2 look like trash.
KoF 2012 is looking like my must-get of the week already. I freaked when I saw the thread for it earlier. Hurry, clock!
