Hey, I was recently given an iPad, and am now looking for some games. So far I'm liking Battle for Wesnoth and History Egypt.. though for some reason neither of them seem to scratch that itch I am looking for. Can anyone suggest a good strategy game? The more in-depth the better. I'm also looking for a decent rpg. Are there any that are less geared towards casual play? I know that's basically what the iGames are, but I was hoping that there were some RPG apps for the iPad which have a nice amount of detail in them. Thanks for your time

Galaxy on Fire 2 then . There's a new update coming soon , Valkyrie . Look for the trailer on youtube , it's awesome For RTS , the best I've ever played is Battle for Wesnoth .
That's TBS.. Some excellent RTS optimized for the iPad are LASW HD, Battleheart, and Starfront HD when it's out xP. There's not a very good selection yet.
Lol he changed his mind apparently. Anyways, another great TBS is Civilization Revolution HD. It plays really well on the big screen.
Who changed their mind? I didn't start this thread I just jumped aboard! Yeah i tried Starfront on the iPhone, but with that tiny screen though.. or maybe i just have fat fingers
