Hey guys - I am nearing the completion of my latest game - Frog on Ice - and would like you to take a look at it and tell me what you think. Sorry no pretty pictures to look at yet, just a link to the preview video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbnGeG3fAOs Franklin Lyons - SPIN FALL
The game looks great. I have to say that frog has to be getting both a sore tongue as well as frost bite. I like the mechanics of the frog both pulling himself along with his tongue as well as using it as a weapon. All the great creatures really ad a lot ( plus having a narwhal in a game is just cool). Curious though what are the controls? Do you touch the screen to launch his tongue forward? It appears that the accelerometer is used as well. I look forward to playing.
The controls are pretty straight forward. Touch and hold to pull the froggie along. As long as you hold the frog will stay anchored to that spot. The jump button works as long as you are on the ground or on top of some obstacle. The controls are really easy to get the hang of but difficult to master as different parts of the game require some dexterity .
Thanks - I'll update this thread once I have something new up. In the mean time I am looking for people to beta test the game. Let me know if you're interested.
