      Hi everyone,
      We have two icons to choose from.

      Icon1:

      Which one is better?

      Edit: Based on the vote result, we decided to use Icon1.

      I like that more. Add a little more polish to it and it will be beautiful.

      Icon 2. I think that Icon 1 would blend a little too well with the iPhone screen while Icon 2 would stand out more when searching for it through the multiple pages. Although I like the design of Icon 1 more, I think that it would be hard to find among the numerous apps that many of us own :)

      I like icon 1 better. Icon 2 says "iWarcraft" to me.

      I voted for number 2 simply because it is more interesting and catchy. I think it looks really clean as well (which is a must for me).

      icon 1 is nothing special, icon 2 is like AngryShrek. i voted neither.

      I voted for icon 1. I think the shield/sword give the sense of "defending" better than the orc.

      Yeah, one seems like it has more to do with the actual game(unless orcs are a big part of it and I'm missing something)

      I voted for number 1 because it's simple and iconic, and I agree with Pante that Icon #2 looks like an angry Shrek.

      I voted for icon 1, and agree that my first thought when I saw #2 was Shrek...Angry or not, you don't want Shrek as your icon :)

      As it stands right now, Icon 2 has the most visual interest. The first one could be the winner if you change it up slighty and use a bit more polish.

      Some ideas for Version 1
      • Flip the sword to point upwards
      • Add more highlights so it isn't as dark
      • Offset the background somewhat from the shield
      • Use an alternate weapon to the hammer if it gives the icon better balance

      Same... My thoughts were "why on earth is there a picture of Shrek?"

      I also agree with the iconic thing - icons should be iconic, surprise! - but seriously, screenshot-style icons look cheap imho

      Thanks everyone for the feedback. I can’t comment on the graphic because I’m not the graphic artists and it’s not my expertise. But, I will share your feedbacks with the team. I’m sure they will be helpful.

      Here is to answer question from Mattman. The game is about war between human and orcs. So, yes, Orc is a big part of the game.

      PointOflight, if you see the 2nd icon shows any resemblance to Warcraft, our artists definitely are inspired with that game. Another inspiration is from LOTR.

      Below is our version of orc. On the left is the hobbit unit.

      @ Gimka

      I chose Icon 1, but i think it should be lightened up with possible some shine on the sword to make it stand out. Also, you might want to consider having a border around it. I think that would make it nice and neat.

      Actually, normally you swords on shields in the downward position.
      Well I say keep 1.

      Thanks to everyone who has voted.
      We have decided to use the first icon.
      I had a hard time to choose prior to this but it's so easy now :)
