Interesting to see how this turns out... the 3ds version is a platformer unlike the console version where you can't even jump. I really wanna see what style is taken.
Frima Studios is not developing Skylanders Spyro for ipad and will not confirm that it's being developed by anyone and said I should contact Activision. Activision says that are not developing it and will not confirm that it's being developed by anyone. So either this is a big secret or it's not coming to ipad afterall. I don't know what the big deal is that they can't even confirm it's existance. Has anyone heard otherwise?
There is indeed an app being developed for Skylanders, for Activision. I left the team in November of 2011. I was an artist and animator on the project. I am not sure what I can say about it or what it's current status is. I left in November and it was pretty far along running on iOS devices and Android.
If it does exist where is it? I cant help but feel they are going to scrap the project and reuse the assets for skylanders giants when that comes out, its been too long since the original skylanders that I doubt they would bring it out now with no console release to tie it to.
What's the deal with this game? Is it gonna be released? And when? Looks incredible! Teasing me like that! Gotta have it! Anyone know anything? It's in the 'upcoming' category here.
