Holy crap!!! My favorite game as a kid... Still one of my favorites... I actually almost beat this once too. I can't wait for this. Thank you EA for reviving the real arcade classics.

I think only one other poster here noticed that this is not the arcade game we all know and love that deserves a modern online coop release. It is in fact a new game where we play as homer on a quest to get his donut back. It's only comparable to the arcade game in it's beat em up gameplay. While it's still very likely that it will be a good game, people shouldn't get their hopes up and confuse it with the original beat em up classic.

 

Can't wait. I remember spending many many quarters on this game.

I'm also hoping that they'll bring the Michael Jackson arcade game to the iPhone.

Awesome to hear that The Simpsons are FINALLY making their way to the iPhone! I've been waiting for this for a long while. I thought they might be coming on that C64 emulator.

 

you do realize that Simpsons didnt come out until after the C64 became obslete,right?

 

But there are Simpsons C64 games, that's all I meant. Don't take everything so personally, geez, lol. Don't ruin this thread too Ranko.

No, Bart vs the space mutants game was out on the c64.

I used to play it on my c64, it was an official release.

Looks good, but Homer's blank expression needs to be changed. Also it needs coop (complete with team moves) badly, so wierd watch this game with just one person playing.
