I've played for a couple of days. It's just like Tiny Towers in that you either wait for hours (50h+ at tower level 110) or shell out Tower Bux that you can buy. I haven't bought any donuts. I've still to see whether or not the wait time increases to absurd levels as I progress. So far not.

I'm dissappointed in lack of GC. I haven't even signed up in Origin. Maybe I will.

 

?!?!? I just turned this on today to find my town has dissapeared and it's back to the tutorial? I hope this gets fixed or I'll not be playing anymore. Why they have to use the EA servers and not let us play offline I don't know.

Is the progression comparable to tiny tower and is the tower bux currency comparable to the donuts?

Simple tip for people needing a few extra donuts.
Press Homer multiple times and he will give you 10 donuts and a Jebediah Statue
