Looks awesome!! Can't wait to play. Online only is kinda unfortunate for me too though considering I have an ipad and I'm on the move all the time with no internet. I would really like to be able to play it anytime, anywhere. So there no room for online/offline mode in the future? Where the online features like trading with others and other social features you had in mind automatically turn on when you have internet and turn off when you don't? Kinda like how Zynga Inc. (FarmVille 2) did their offline mode.
An offline mode without any of the social features would be quite nice. Even if it's not put it for the initial release I'd like to see it implemented in a future update.
Add me to the list of people eager for an offline mode. I'd pay extra. The online requirement is punishing for those without regular access to wifi.

Still on for a summer release I think. Yeah, I'm very excited for it as well. Should be late July/Early August but I'm not so sure.
They've said on their Twitter they'l give an update or something soon. No word on a release date yet though.
Nope.. Their last update was on Facebook in April, told us they would post ingame postcard/screenshots, but they didn't post anything after that. I presume the game is finished, but that there are some struggles with the publisher or something. Really want to hear some news about this project.
They replied to someone on Twitter that they have no specific release date but it's pretty close to being released. I still have my fingers crossed for a release this month!
If it's this month that's be amazing! I just would like some follow up info, maybe a new trailer or screenshots. Something to bring the fan that we're following this game back and get it more hyped again. I personally cannot wait.
So from this sounds of it this may sound insane but I have no idea what Animal Crossing is, I've heard the name but that's about all I know?
