If you will be buying a new iPad this season, you need to just buy the largest one they have. I filled up my new 32GB model from just one night of Bulkypix's sales. Now how am I to grab the other apps that will be offering discounts? Size matters...
It matters BIG time! I have 30gb worth of apps for iOS all saved on my external HDD (1TB). Works out cheaper to buy your own storage than 32/64gb iPad. Only cost me $70
I got the 128GB iPad mini with retina display after making the huge mistake of getting a 8GB iPod touch 4 last year. Size matters for sure..
I have decided. I am going to start saving up for a 128GB iPad Air Wi-Fi. That will solve all my storage issues. Does anyone with a 128GB iPad still run out of space? iPadisFullandSpaceHulkisComingandSoIsPanzerCorps...
I loaded my 128GB iPad with tons of games (277, to be exact) and I'm hovering around the 50GB free mark.
i have ipad mini retina and iphone 5 and both 16 gb memory and i always have 5-7gb free, you can always save your games on pc or download again if you wish to play,i will never buy idevice with bigger memory...
I have a 500gb USB external drive that would be ideal for backing up my games. But I have no idea how to do that? Is it easy? Could you tell me or give me a link to a tutorial for it? Btw my iPad is not jailbroken.
The difference is like $200 to $300? Let me check the Apple Store... My rMini LTE 32GB cost me $870 and the iAir Wi-Fi 128GB sells for $1,108. That is a difference of $238 for a larger screen and 96GB more of storage space. The idea is to start saving up now, and who knows, by the time I buy, iPad Pro might be out for the same price. For some reason, I just find myself coming back to my iPad 2 even though both the retina Mini and my iPad 2 are here next to me. I have a sneaking suspicion that it is just too small. iPadThinksSteveJobsWasRightButTimCookBuriedHim...
That's pretty close to us, what currency? Here a 128 GB iPad Air Wi-Fi is $1200, the 32 GB Air is $900. So $300 for the extra 96 GB and same screen. I just find $1200 a bit OTT for what it is. I see you mentioned the Singapore store in another thread, $1 SGD = $0.98 NZD so at currency rates $1200 NZD works out to around $1225 SGD. Out of interest what does a PS4 retail for there?
Apparently the PS4 will sell for $639 when released. http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/feature-worldwide-playstation-4-prices-compared iPadisSavingUpFor128GBiPad...
Oh well not as big of a savings as I thought it might be based on the $92 Air difference, only works out to $10.
I see lots of people talking about an ipad pro. Is this based on the macbook air/pro versions, and the assumption that we'll have a pro ipad as we now have the air?
Well, it is supposed to be larger and be more powerful than the ipad air. But of course this is all rumour. Some are saying it maybe a hybrid mac/ipad. Also, the rumour is that it may come out in may. But again, this is all rumour.
I see. Well I'd like it to be true as I'm still running an iPad 2. Between me and my gf, it gets used every day still, but mostly for Netflix and internet use. I'm still tempted by the air but the 1gb ram is disappointing as it perhaps confirms apple aren't interested in 'true multitasking', something I'd love out of a tablet. I'd probably buy an surface pro 2 if I could justify the money.
The iPad Pro is the 12.9" iPad scheduled for launch in 2014. http://mobile.macworld.co.uk/ipad-iphone/news/?newsid=3480942 You really want to try using a friend's Windows 8 tablet in real life first. Unless you have Modern UI apps to use, in which case a Windows 8 is fine, but Windows desktop programs are very hard to click accurately using thumbs or fingers. iPadWhoSpentEnoughOnAWindows8TabletToBeAbleToAffordA128GBiPadAir...
