I do not own an iPad or anticipate getting an iPad in the near future; but Baldur's Gate is so awesome I almost want to lock in the license just because it's on sale. It was a really great game on PC with a lot of depth. Especially on iOS you won't find many party based RPGs with good overall plot (lots of narrative detail) and tense combat like this. It's too bad they wouldn't figure out a way to get it on iPhone/iPod. Too big. If Apple wants any more app sales, they better offer a MAJOR increase in storage size options. In 2009 I had 32 gig ipod touch. In 2013 I have a 32 gig ipad mini. In 2009, the average game was probably about 14 megs. In 2013, it's probably 60. The largest app when I first used the appstore was a hundred megs or so. Now.... You get my point. Or at least allow data management without syncing/itunes. Hell, I have 600 megs of SOUNDS for one single app. Morgan01 Well-Known Member Apr 11, 2013 243 0 0 USA #8 Morgan01, Jun 12, 2013 It's 1.9GB when installed. If you can't buy a 64GB iPad Mini or 128 gb iPad 4, you will just have to manage your space well. Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,239 179 63 #15 Royce, Jun 13, 2013 You can run it, but iPad 2+ is recommended. If you decide to play on iPad 1, you should reboot your device before playing and save often. Memory limitations on the original iPad can cause the game to crash. There's a lot of info on their forums if you'd care to learn more. Then when there is a port of the greatest party based RPG of all time which has a massive open world, hundred hours of gameplay, very skill intensive combat, and the deepest story of any game on ios, they complain it takes up too much space. Obviously if you want to play a big game, it is going to take up more space than Angry Birds. I bought this game for $50 when it first came out on PC. It was on 6 CDs and was a major pain loading up each CD between areas. Just for the fact that you don't have to fight CDs or wait times between areas makes the iPad version a massive improvement over the original. acrotran Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2010 741 0 0 #18 acrotran, Jun 13, 2013 Is $5.99 a sale price or is this the new price? dariusjr98 Well-Known Member Aug 4, 2012 937 0 0 A state in a country in a continent in the world #19 dariusjr98, Jun 14, 2013 I feel your pain brother. Who's bright idea was it to make an 8 gig phone, that doesn't even have at least a memory card slot or something?! That's one of the big things I dislike about apple. They do that to take all your money and upgrade. dariusjr98 Well-Known Member Aug 4, 2012 937 0 0 A state in a country in a continent in the world #20 dariusjr98, Jun 14, 2013 Whatever man, we have the right to complain because Apple won't give us night storage memory.
