Well I will be trying this! Any idea when it will be available in the US Store? Shouldnt this thread be in the general games section since it is released?
We are doing a beta in canada first, that's why it's not in the general games section yet. Once we know the servers could handle a lot of players simultaneously, we'll do a worldwide release.
Hehe.. If you want this today, you can still create an itunes account in Canada. The game is free so you don't need a credit card. Here is the way you can create an account http://techwiredau.com/2008/09/grab-a-free-itunes-account-for-any-country/
@Toad In The Hole. Nice, you didn't loose time. Please note that those graphics are on a 1st or 2nd gen iphon/ipod. On a 3rd gen, we use fully opengl es 2.0 with next gen pixel shaders. And the game is also running at 60 FPS.
Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel enjoy in HD Quality! I REALLY wish I could download the music somewhere, it's realy nice. (btw: YAY, finally understood how to embed a youtube vid in a post here! )
Thanks for this high quality video. Yeah I should add that the sound and music have been tuned to be played with headphones on. All the experience is much better.
I usually play it with the loudspeakers in my room (2 speakers + sub.) and it sounds great there, too. I wish I could listen to the music outside of the game. In the video, if you see the lines on the screen, it's not the game, it's the iPods pixels.
Yeah.. We are not advertising it too much, we are still tweaking a few things. So far 60 people downloaded the game, and it's rare to have more than a person online at the same time. We just pushed it in more countries, so we are hoping to get more players this weekend.
