Folks, Are the app rankings now frozen? I had heard that Dec 23rd to 29th no movement of ranks would happen. If true what time does apple hit the off button? Cheers Trex
Last year it was sporadic if I remember correctly. Meaning the rankings where frozen and then after 8 hours you would see some movement. They had a whole year to figure a way to keep the rankings going so I wouldn't expect the rankings to be down. I also remember the rankings going crazy for a brief period as well. Creating a win fall for some developers
Well when they did their server upgrades just back in October they still hadn't figured out how to stop the charts freezing with everything being put on hold for a week (around 28th -> 5th Nov) It won't surprise me if they stop resonding again this Christmas.
