Ok driving myself nuts here. Been browsing through the TA database trying to find the title of a game which I believe has not been released as of yet, but can't find it for the life of me, going so far as to think that I might've just imagined the game existing in the first place Anyway I'll try to describe it as best I can. It's a RPG/Puzzle hybrid. The top half of the screen looks most like the old school SNES era Final Fantasy battle screens, characters on the right, monsters on the left. Bottom has a bunch of blocks sliding from left to right, skulls for monsters, and different color blocks representing the heroes. Matching color blocks on rows with monster blocks attacks monsters, and prevents monsters from taking actions. If anyone can come up with a name for me, or barring that, at least confirm they've seen it as well I'd be very appreciative
Finally found it, and nope, it's was none of the above It's Dungeon Hearts. Thanks for the help at least people.
