The winners of last week's Game of the Week poll are pending... Last week's GOTW thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=263330 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. Releases active before Saturday are eligible (even if they aren't listed in this original post), weekend releases can be nominated the following poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week. Please note: 1) Developers, publishing partners, or affiliates cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote for it. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members with some activity. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong. 3) Suspect votes may be void. 4) Game updates, no matter how significant are not eligible for GOTW. There are enough new games to nominate that haven't been considered before. Notice of this poll may be given in the threads of all nominated games. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New"tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ Here is a list of new releases, please suggest any additions, I will better format in time: [Will better format if time... need to add some titles still] Angry Birds Fight Infection: Humanity's Last Grasp Mad Out Ice Storm Pills4Skills Spirit of War: The Great War Tennis World Tour - Road to Finals Transistor Credit to Ap0calypse, ImNoSuperman, TriggyWiggy, Arta, TheFrost, and EchoSeven for theGOTW legacy. Transistor (sistors doing it for themselves) Pills4Skills (take me to your dealer) Retrola k ase (alex kidd-ing)
Pills4Skills Valkyrie Bullet Transistor VB is a simple yet very challenging little shmup but destroyed by having no iap for a full unlock and more fun. Holding off with Transistor since i'm just about to start it the very next minute. Edit: Transistor made it, though i'm always on the fence with "i totally don't understand 30% of the game" but i still manage not to die and progress further. Atmosphere and music alone is worth every cent.
Sooooo... everything anyone nominated this week made the poll... ...except Valkyrie Bullet because came out in April
My vote went to Transistor, it's a very fun game and it's beautiful. This week is going to be another great week with Warhammer 40K: Armageddon and Xenowerk both coming out. Edit: And SpaceGalaga is already out and I'm really liking it.
