I'd say you should go with a 4.99-6.99 price point to make it successful.

I thought the A5X (iPad 3) would have full effects and 60fps

Full effect doesn't mean maxed out. For example, ultra shadows resolution is a crazy gigantic 2048*2048 texture. Bigger than what the screen can display. It's insanely high, we speaking not in mobile specs but getting in the PC/Console range of quality. So yeah, not having things maxed out doesn't mean low, it still very high for a mobile device. :D

What about the difficulty of the game? Will it be like Alone In The Dark 1 or 2?

Well, power isn't just measured with Flops, there's also fill rate, bandwidth, triangles per sec, etc.
Ipad4 isn't yet at the same overall power of X360/PS3 consoles, but pretty close. I would say, the overall mobile developer will exploit it to get half of what a X360 can output.
Though, there's some areas where the iPad4 is more efficient than 360 but in overall still less powerful than consoles.

On the same lines as RE/SH. You have three level of difficulty, Normal, Hard and Insane. In normal pretty much adapted to normal players, could be a bit difficult to casual players. In hard mode enemies are stronger, faster, appears more often, survival items are rare and you got less hints for puzzles, riddles, quests, etc. The Insane mode is only available once you beat the game in Hard mode (which unlocks new gameplay possibilities).

Did you guys noticed the image of the character I've posted earlier?
No one commented about it. Just in case you miss it. :D

Looks like a ghost apparition that would appear in a mirror to scare you.

    Don't tell anyone you've seen a ghost! :D

I won't tell you now what she is but you'll be able to interact with.

Sounds cool, but what about those "deathtraps" from AITD? I'm sure you played AITD 1 or 2, but anyway I will try to explain these "deathtraps": in the first AITD, for example, there was an enemy that could only be defeated by using a mirror. The problem is that if you're carrying the mirror and an enemy attacks you, the mirror will be broken, so you can't defeat that enemy and you must restart the game. AITD 1 and 2 were the best survival horror games I've ever played, and that was due to their difficulty and their AWESOME gameplay. I never found those two things in any other modern survival horror game, so I hope FM will have some things from AITD too.

The way our enemies behaves and the way you interact with them is quite unique. I don't think is something you've already seen in other survival horror games. Well, if RE3.5 would have seen the light of day i could say that it's close to FM experience but even that, what you'll see in FM is totally unique. I can't tell more but believe me, you'll be surprised. :)
By the way, I'm a very good friend of the main producer of AITD. ;)
He also have given us good feedback. So expect goodness from it.

Last year brought "Cry of fear" to us (pretty silenthill'ish horror/fps on improved half-life 1 engine, free as mod), FM is next)

    edit:

    p/s/

btw what do you think about Fatal Frame and Forbidden Siren? FF2 and FS2 are considered "the best horror eva" games by some

We also have some ghost elements in our game, can't say much but i agree those games are among the best of course. :)

    Guys,
    New images! :)
    More charactes improvements.
Flat editor shading only. With all shaders and real-time lighting she looks even awesome. I'll post real-time lighting images later.

The new version of the main character (Rose) will be shown soon!
    Enjoy!

Very nice! Did you use photos as a base for the textures or are they hand painted from scratch? She's very lifelike.

We use real-life people as references but textures are hand-painted. :)
