My sentiments exactly. Never been a fan of this game, but this is just ridiculous. This is like what, the 4th time now?
How dare you use that language!!! I'm ringing the police!!!! I don't understand either, can't see it being racist, sexist or just offensive. Stupid Tim Langdell
There's a decently informative wikipedia article about all of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EDGE_Games. "Edge Games was founded in California in 1990 by Tim Langdell, also know as the lowest form of life." "Edge Games has not released a new title since 1994" It's ridiculous that this trademark was ever granted in the first place. It's preposterous that the mark is defensible. It's annoying that Apple submits to just about any possible claim of trademark infringement claims, but they do have to protect themselves and this is the safest route they can take. I wish they had the stones to take a stand and deny the request for Edge to be removed over and over ad infinitum, but in the end, they're probably always going to play it safe in this regard. indeed! Q
I'm kind of upset but I don't know at who. I bought edgy because I like mobigames and like to see all my games readily able to download from the appstore but now it's taken off. I am NOT buying this game a third time
Thought I read somewhere a while back (months ago) that EDGY was also trademarked by Tim L. Is there any reason they changed it to EDGY specifically, instead of something that wouldn't conflict at all? Just until all this clears up.
I was never the puzzler/time breaker kind of gamer haha. I like rts and rpgs pretty much. Fps are nice too. Heheh sorry, I'm into the games with the deeper level story; I know the idevice wasn't originally designed for that, but the limits have and are most definitely being pushed with gamelofts "ports" leading the way.
