Wow the first Ipad looks even worse than I thought it's amazing anyone bought them. Ipad 2 looks absolutely stellar though those graphics are better than Ps3 easily.
Hard to believe anybody would waste their money on an iPad 2! I'm sure iPad 3 will be coming out in a year or so--imagine how amazing THAT's gonna be!! Or maybe even wait for Ipad 4!
I have to admit, technology is too crazy. The iPad 2 is just amazing. The screen is a whole lot better than the first one on graphics and performance.
Real Racing 2 on iPad 2, has a noticably higher polygon count in the models and more objects, as well as the improved textures, bump mapping and aiti-aliasing. A proper update. iPad 2 isn't better than the PS3, but sits between the PS2 and PS3, IMO.
ipad 2 is okay... I agree. It's not that better. RR2 looks good on both iPads. Both iPad 1 and 2 share the same screen resolution.
These games have been built for the A4 processor and were only just re-optimized for the iPad 2, so it's expected that the difference in these games wouldn't be radical (Except in Infinity Blade; the pics don't do justice to the improvement, but the difference is huge). However, the performance improvement should be substantial.
In fact, every game I have run on my iPad 2 ( many carried over from my original iPad ) run substantially better. Modern Combat 2 plays very smooth, as well as those optimized for the new tech (RR2, IB, etc)
Agreed 100%. I hope we see more games geared for the new tech. I think it'll take for iPhone 5 to release, before we see this. There just isn't a user base significant enough yet... It'll take the next iPhone to light a fire under developers butts. Much like iPhone 4 ushered in better games (4gen optimizations and retina)....
