    sorry if there was already a thread like this, I searched and couldn't really find one but is there a game that's like it? And what one is best?

    He wants a CLONE of geometry wars... Not a similar but not identical games. Belowscape is the closest clone out there.

    It's a toss up between 2079 and Belowscape, the latter being closer to Geometry Wars than the former. But I have to say, 2079 kicks butt! Belowscape looks nice, but the game is far too simple for it's own good. No power ups (unless you include the double shoot that you FINALLY get after 30,000 point!!!!), no multipliers, no extra lives, no nothing except you and the enemy and a big black space. Very stylish but 2079 is more fun I think...

    would say that's game dependent. I've had plenty of games that have survived updates just fine, and in fact can't think of one that's lost data. Of course, as long as my save games are in tact I don't tend to pay too much attention to anything else.

    :eek::rolleyes:;)

    What about Nanofighter? I've heard a lot of people like that one. Anyways, my vote goes for Isotope. Cs.one looks pretty cool too, when it comes out.

    I've never played Geometry Wars so I don't really have a frame of reference, but Nano Fighter is awesome. Anomaly's pretty cool too, and once the update with landscape mode comes out I think it will be right up there with NF. Isotope is fun as well, and the rpg elements add a very nice touch to the game. I prefer the control system that Nano Fighter uses, but Isotope's is kinda neat.

    Right now, I'd have to say CS.One. When you play that game, every other game (visually) just does not come close.
