Wait until the respective destiny dungeon is release, It actually become weekly that the game intruduces new destiny dungeon so we might be 2 weeks away to see the new house.
I don't think they drop heroes, the special boss is just to get the gear for the hero for anyone who gets them with diamonds. Also, is anyone having any luck with the 3* and above hero draw? I was a little tempted to buy diamonds for this, but after my first pull with the diamonds I've saved up I'm not so sure (mostly 3* rare, one 3* epic luke sleepwalker, which was kinda what I was expecting for something that sounds good )
