Can't beat that... After about 5 minutes playing in the browser, I was hooked... It's semi-real-time... Enemies will snap to you, or you'll snap to the enemies, and then you're givin a chance to tap on them (they'll be in one of four cardinal directions next to you), or run away by tapping on the opposite side of the enemy. If you don't tap on them quick enough, they'll attack you. It's a strange UI selection after playing the browser version (can be played fully with directional keys, so a swipe or something type option would have fit great here), but totally manageable. Hopefully it'll get a bit more comfortable as the game progresses. esty8nine Well-Known Member Dec 21, 2013 1,044 0 0 #12 esty8nine, Jul 2, 2016 So where does the challenge or strategie come in ? syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #13 syntheticvoid, Jul 3, 2016 As the game progresses, more enemies are thrown in, and you'll need to decide who to take out first, who to try and lure out from the group, which groups to just jump right into... Ect... The mix of enemies makes it pretty challenging. Having 2-4 swarm you and having to quickly figure out the order to take them out in makes it feel like a sort of reflex game. It sounds like a strange mix, but it comes together really well. There's 3 acts, though I haven't finished the first one (the previous game is unlocked when you beat Act III). There's scrolls scattered about so you can restart at the floor you died in and retain your score, otherwise you can start at the same floor but reset your score to zero. Still keeping everything you've found (all your items and whatnot). If you decide to quit the game and come back later, you'll be able to choose one item and one pet/familiar (so long as you've found them previously) to start the game with. I'm enjoying it... It's like... A real time Greedy Cave mixed with a reflex centered tapping game but with better balancing and some light strategy elements. esty8nine Well-Known Member Dec 21, 2013 1,044 0 0 #14 esty8nine, Jul 3, 2016 Yea greedy cave is a little to slow for me, that's why I'm asking (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
