I heard over the grapevine that Lavamind was looking for a talented developer familiar with the iPhone and willing to port their game (Zapitalism) over to that platform. I thought I would pass on that information over to the developers here. [email protected] I'm not making that up, please feel free to contact them above. As for Zapitalism, the iphone touch based controls would be absolutely perfect for it. It should be a very easy port. A one man developer familiar with the iPhone could port the whole game in a month or two actually. It's a fantastic game (a hilarious light hearted business sim). If there was online play and there was a lite version that allowed people to try the game first, it would honestly sell like hotcakes by word of mouth alone, it's very addictive.
I'd jump at the chance if I had the know-how. I haven't actually played Zapitalism, but I always loved their other game Gazillionaire. I'd love to see that game ported as well (with better graphics, of course). I hope they find someone to take on the project.
Um... sure. I'd take a swing at it. We're sort of in the middle of our online rpg at this point but always looking to queue up projects. Haven't really played the game much... but I did write a biz sim for a client that wasn't too different. Would be fun to see something like this on the idevice.
