Hey! I'm finalizing work on my new project - Punch a Hole, but I'm having really hard time deciding which icon to use. I've came up with three simple ideas:

I'd love to go with the first idea, since it represent a tile that awaits to be punched, but I'm afraid it's too general. The second and third ones contain a ball which represents Punch a Hole a bit better but on the other hand I feel it clutters the icons.

I could use some feedback, feel free to speak up!

    Here's how the game looks:

I like the middle icon. It's not cluttered and not empty either.

I definitely like to middle one most. The first one is so empty it might raise some curiosity but personally I'd go with the middle one.

I have to say that from a players perspective I'd find it hard to distinguish anything about the game from any of these icons.

Maybe a little hint at some game action or a title might shed some light on what you're offering with the app.

I vote for the middle icon

Your icon is good because it's simple comparing to the other millions icons, no need to make a better one.

All are too simple for my taste. I feel like I could've made them!

I'd suggest 'zooming out' on the icon a bit, so you see pieces of the neighboring tiles. Or at the bare minimum choosing the blue dot to highlight.

I actually like the simplicity of 'em. It's different. However, when I look at any of 'em, first thing I think of is golf game.

You're right! After finger swipe the cue appears and strikes the ball. The intention was to keeps things familiar - everyone knows how billiard balls collide with each other and how they fall into pockets.
