Reviews don't seem as good as Magic 2013 though so you might want to try it out before purchasing the full game. dancj Well-Known Member Jan 25, 2011 967 4 18 #2 dancj, Dec 20, 2013 I picked this up on the thanksgiving sale. It's excellent. I think the only reason for poor reviews is the crashing issues. I never had the problem on my iPad 3. I belie they've just fixed it for the iPad Air. I'm not sure how it is on the other models though cofunguy Well-Known Member Sep 24, 2012 825 0 0 #3 cofunguy, Dec 20, 2013 Drat..if I knew that expansion iap of $4.99 was going to be $1.99 I would have waited. I am presuming this is the iap that opens more of the app, correct? Oh well, win some, lose some ezram New Member Aug 21, 2009 1 0 1 #4 ezram, Dec 20, 2013 I have an iPad 2 and unfortunately, it's unplayable with all the crashes I get. currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 1 0 #5 currymutton, Dec 21, 2013 Dang! Very tempting! Bantocks Well-Known Member Jul 14, 2013 99 10 8 #6 Bantocks, Dec 21, 2013 Thanks. Bought both. These are rarely discounted. I've now bought this game 5 times in total. Sad I know. Twice on steam. One for my sons account and one for me. Can't beat a bit if multiplayer. One on Xbox 360 One on Android. Finally one on iPad. Outrager Well-Known Member Sep 14, 2012 130 0 0 #7 Outrager, Dec 21, 2013 I think the tradition might be to discount the newest version by 50% around Christmas time. It was the same for Magic 2013. sapphire_neo Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2011 3,936 0 0 #8 sapphire_neo, Dec 22, 2013 I would have been truly tempted if deck packs had been on sale too. Oh well. kylera Member Nov 27, 2012 12 0 0 Seoul #9 kylera, Dec 23, 2013 I've been interested in going back to the card games like this after having a stint with Yu-gi-oh almost 10 years ago. Does Magic have a steep learning curve? Outrager Well-Known Member Sep 14, 2012 130 0 0 #10 Outrager, Dec 23, 2013 The first part of the game is Free to play and includes the tutorial so you can give it a try. The only CCG I've played is Magic so I can't give a good idea of the learning curve. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
