Time Ducks may not be the finest iOS game of the year, but it’s easily one of the most memorable.-PocketgamerThe clash of the superb sound with the comically naïve artwork - and a few genuinely funny lines - is enough to keep Time Ducks on the right side of twee indie whimsy. But of course, what matters is a moreish pot-pourri game design that mixes Braid's time manipulation in with Frogger, that ios game about landing planes and a gloriously illogical hierarchy of animalcombo scoring.-Eurogamer [Game of the week 2011-12-09]Aside from the solid gameplay, Time Ducks is also brimming with personality. The tutorial is packed with humor and the pixel visuals are simple but eye catching. There are also tons of funny achievements and tiny bits interspersed through the game which will almost alwaysdraw a chuckle. [...] it's actually one of the most fun and interesting line drawing games I've ever played. Definitely give it a look.-Toucharcade[...]the highscore table and note-perfect humour (which, just like thepixel-art graphics and whimsical audio, strikes the perfect balance between faux-naivety and self-awareness) proves more than enough to keep you playing in the traffic.-Edge-online.com"[...]so the brain will melt nicely.""Contrary to associate with the kitsch look, pure logical game design."-Exite Japan (Both quotes loosly translated)Yes!by spencekarl - Version 1.2.3 - Jan 25, 2012Great update... Really just looking at the beautiful pixels is worth the asking price so give this one a try! christian@TGS New Member Dec 6, 2011 4 0 0 Think Tank Copenhagen http://www.toughguystudios.com #10 christian@TGS, Mar 31, 2012 Thanks, 3 promocodes and cheats... Thank you all for your impressions and input on Time Ducks. The game really hasn´t sold anything, but knowing that there are people out there who really likes and understands the game, is worth more than money in the bank to us. We have recently begun working on our second game, which is something completely different, but still quite the same. Pictures and stuff will be posted on our website (http://toughguystudios.com/) and Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/toughguystudios) in the end of April-ish. Here are the last 3 promocodes we have left, hope someone can put them to good use: HPKRJPFFFPFN, P3333PYE7M7K and HNHH94JE4LA9. Finally; when we made the game, we put in a kind of old school arcade cheat. Basically we used it when we where testing, but we decided to keep it for the release. So, if you still have a couple of pesky achievements, simply write "Ken sent me" on the off-line leaderboard, and all achivements will be unlocked. And once again, thank you all for discussing the game, it really gives us a lot of energy to keep pushing forward, and creating more great games. For all it's crazy presentation, Time Ducks is a a solid high score game, just like Monsters ate My Condo, but I didn't realize that until I was already playing the game.
