That dude was doing kickflips (skateboard trick) and other sk8 tricks on a surfboard. A little unrealistic, but nevertheless, still a cool looking game.
actually surfers can do both kickflips and shovits (Volcom held a surfing kickflip content). Looks like there was a varial/360 flip in the teaser though, now thats unrealistic . Anyways, the game looks fun.

Game is submitted, no release date as of yet. We will definitely keep you informed of this info as it comes to light. Thanks for all the constructive comments. We did some testing on actual surfers and the feedback was very positive, especially once they had learnt how to stall into the barrels and ride the tube long enough to be blown out the end. Carving style is also rewarded as well as other moves such as fins-out and alley-oop..

Launch Delays Sorry for the delays people. The game was rejected by Apple for use of in-appropriate keywords (we put skateboarding in as a search term which was refused as it does not directly relate to the subject matter of this game) so unfortunately its back to the beginning of the review queue while we wait for it to be approved again. We will definately keep you posted here as we find out more.
