The story begins with a dream sequence in which you wander through a small labyrinth and meet a mysterious girl. You awaken to find yourself suffering amnesia in a dark forest of a strange floating world.... So far, I feel a little like Alice in a wonderland filled with strange people and talking beasts. The gameplay primarily consists of exploration as you traverse a very simple and stylish world, picking up the necessary tools you need and talking to the inhabitants to solve the next puzzle and progress further. Although I have encountered a few enemies so far, combat hasn't been necessary in order to dispose of them (yet). Some of the pros include: a very fitting and atmospheric soundtrack, day/night cycles in the open-yet-linear world, properly written dialogue (thank god!), no loading times, small monologues from the protagonist as she comments on her situation and surroundings (gives her more character), unique and artistically styled environments, and the ability to play in either portrait or landscape. A few things which could be improved include: the short draw distance, one hit deaths (the enemy killing you, that is), some choppy animation when navigating over uneven terrain, and non-cohesive loops in the soundtrack for some areas. I like this game so far, but (since I'm easily entertained) I don't know whether its worth everybody's $4 yet. Basics first, you control a girl (wearing white pj?) using a compass like wheel in the lower right hand corner. On the lower left you start with a hand icon which you use to pick things up, later a sword icon to attack and also a note icon to switch music. Camera view can be changed by tilting. Story goes as a girl wakes in a strange place, wanders around trying to find her teddy bear, and she meets a girl in black, telling her that they are dreaming her instead of the other way round. Mysteries. The girl finds her bear, enters second level, and this time meets a crow telling her she is the last Klinnburger and she needs to find out what happened. The quest starts. For this game, controls are pretty forgiving. You don't fall off platforms and you can pick things as long as you are near enough without needing to face in the direction of the item. Attacking, however, is very hard for me. Since there's a lag in her attack movement (by way of a kick), I've yet to grasp the best timing to press the sword button. As of now I still can't get pass the monster in second level. But that's probably because I suck. I dig the dreamy like worlds a lot. This alone can carry me through the levels. The skylight in game is constantly changing color, and the music changes when you enter a new area. If you exit the game in the middle of a level, you'll return to the start of it. If you die, you wake up at the nearest checkpoint (I think that's a checkpoint, but don't take my words for it since it doesn't look like one). I've played too little to tell if the game will get better or worse or worth the price, but I did enjoy it (it's like my own little fantasy journey) and am not regretting my purchase. I look forward to seeing how the developer will continue the story. Otherwise, it's been an insane 9 months sequel - usually working the night shift, and finally I feel proud and happy to be publishing my first game, atop my own engine, with my own 3D art (!). - I am planning on releasing at least 2 additional chapters as free app updates. - Sequels are on the plan - needless to say, bigger and better! The first two have well, graphics, and certainly worth for their gameplay but I don't see how they could from their graphics. Antistar graphics are at another level, there's a style, their's a singularity, there's a mood, they are intriguing.
