I find it's roguelike aspect very weak. I mean it is full of randomness and nothing else. I know game is played with dice. But in terms of roguelike there is randomness that you can adapt and get better, right? Like this kinda game I am not gonna get any better with it. Despite all game is enjoyable. Playing on tablet but phone screen would be better. Sorry for my English. sinagog Well-Known Member Aug 15, 2014 937 0 0 #3 sinagog, Sep 17, 2015 Game gets very fun once you learn to just stick around each area until the job's done, and to always prepare for the worst with backup hearts and the like. Ta for the heads up. Protip-use the elfy looking woman. I nealry always got the best event outcome due to having the higher of two dice chosen. drelbs Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 11,200 7 38 #5 drelbs, Sep 18, 2015 Lovely pixelated boardgame/RPG, like a mini Talisman. GameStew has been a favorite of mine for a long time... sinagog Well-Known Member Aug 15, 2014 937 0 0 #6 sinagog, Sep 18, 2015 Last edited: Sep 18, 2015 I prefer the guy with double potion effect snd +3 attack when you throw a 6. He really makes it impossible to die from stealing dragon treasure if you constantly keep your health 4 or over. Some of them can be nasty, but those random events are great for upgrading your attack. I think 9 is the maximum. dancj Well-Known Member Jan 25, 2011 967 4 18 #7 dancj, Sep 18, 2015 I'm enjoying this so far. Way more than Tower of Fortune which I didn't like at all Greyskull Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2009 5,588 1 38 Photographer/Social Sciences adjunct/sweet sweet l Fort Lauderdale #8 Greyskull, Sep 20, 2015 But-dragon treasure is a quest-Ergo... And I died from foolishly not quaffing a potion BEFORE a battle.potions become cheap. Remember to use them! They should really care about something like a tutorial. Deleted. dancj Well-Known Member Jan 25, 2011 967 4 18 #10 dancj, Sep 21, 2015 Finally did it with the woman wizard character. The game is fun, but unbalanced. Surviving the first half hour takes a lot of luck - if you get turned into a sheep before you're able to build a level 2 market you're likely to die and there' smoothing you can do about it. Once you make it up to 6 or 7 attack and have a decent market then it becomes really easy. Then you froth at the mouth as you flop about the floor. dancj Well-Known Member Jan 25, 2011 967 4 18 #12 dancj, Sep 24, 2015 It would take a pretty big mistake when you can carry around 5 health potions, each of which cures 2 health. oskieTA Member Jun 24, 2015 15 0 0 #13 oskieTA, Sep 29, 2015 Confusing at first, but simple afterwards I think i started the game without really know what i supposed to do, just randomly clicking and picking yes to whatever. There was no wiki or any sort of tutorial to begin with, but later after a few play throughs and deaths i finally got the hang of it. Playing with the wizard(or the character of the app icon) is definitely the best and somewhat easier to play. Overall the game is quite fun after you knew the mechanics. Stuff like you will need to pay $100 to re-roll is common knowledge and can really save you, but don't become apparent until you have played the game multiple times.;Or things like try not to go into the specific locations(lake city, lava pool, dragon's cave, mermaid's cove) that early until you have built up more gold and purchased upgrades for your ore pouches and meat pouches. The game is rather short itself, so i guess if they told you how to do everything, you could probably finish the game in about 5 to 6 hours. But hey, i mean its a free game now right? can't say no to that! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
