CLASH FOR DAWN This is not for advertising nor to summon any cruel argument/smacktalks But for those who really looking for a proper Dungeon Crawler/Hack n Slash, mostly A Diablo 3 like game. For last 12 months i have been looking for proper one, similiar to Diablo games. None of them are close, tried them all. I would like to try Icewind Dale but idont know how to play it and it seems very hard. But there are some games coming, Titan Quest as well and then Torchlight Mobile is in the work. But as i said all Hack n slash / Dungeon Crawlers on mobile lack major things, to little, to short, no proper multiplayer/pvp. Dungeon Hunter do not have co-op or pvp, to much pay2win. Kingsroad, you can finish all dungeons in 30 minutes *great multiplayer though*. Eternity Warriors, copy paste of God of War/weird rpg, repetitive missions and mobs Iesabel, no multiplayer, no servers. Bards Tale, only singelplayer. They all lack major things proper pc games have. Baldur's Gate, wicked multiplayer, i tried 20times, wasn't able to learn how to play it. To hard And a bunch of other useless copies But now i finally found one: Clash for Dawn, that is the one. It has the feel, the flow and the environment, proper multiplayer, classes and the slow feeling that most new games miss, they are too fast. Also the game is on soft launch, already great at its first steps. It can only get better, hopefully developers add longer missions.
Looks good but since they mention"daily events" and "mega rewards" in the video description i suspect it will be another F2P title. Hope it doesn't result in a timer ridden slot machine like DH. And hopefully they don't forget to add MFI support.
Hehe i thought the same. I forgot to mention PVP, i have read people mentioning how great its pvp arena is. I have not reached that level yet, only level 13. Amazing so far, lets see what happens further in the game.
stupid me,i forgot to add the video i was talking about http://youtu.be/mlnHcvQOUuo @Tyler:do you know if it supports MFI controller?i assume now it's F2P,so how about timers?
My man, just not yet. Timers, so far no problem whatsoever. At work now, haven't played since last time I was here. Anybody else tried it?
Patient pessimistic friend, here is little review so far and this game is just lovely...so far Here's what it also has *Great multiplayer with 4 players co-op *You have your team of four, still running and managable even after coming out dungeons walking around in city. *And challanges against other players, like DH5 *not live* *Mercenaries you train that follow you as pet. *And the best of it all so far, 2 pvp towns anyone can enter and kill each other plus bosses in it for loots. *Many quests *Choose between two factions Weaknesses *Dull option for auto-tracking. *Auto-attacking. *And timer during dungeons. *Dungeons to short for 4 players
I wouldn't consider Exact-Psience to be overly pessimistic. We were once people full of hope. But reality has proven us wrong too many times. Timers are here to bother us,only a very few developer were able to put timers in their games that are not upfront annoying. Probably not the case here,we'll see.But my interest is lowered by a mile now because usually i don't want to even support a business model that includes time limits.
Yes i see, never felt annoyed by its time limits. By the way, what is the purpose of having a timers? I don't get it, you can't buy more time.
I read the thread title and got very excited. Then I read some posts and alas I'm disappointed yet again. Timers and f2p, I'm out, freemium isn't allowed on my device whatsoever. I still have hope that one day we'll get a proper Diablo clone but I'm not holding my breath.
