Houston, TX #2 slewis7, Dec 18, 2012 I have always wanted to try this and the sale pushed me over the edge. I am glad it did; after I few games I can see that it's popularity is well deserved. I love games that are simple to understand, but have depth. My only gripe is that it is a bit tricky to distinguish some of the colors for me being color blind, but at least you can use the symbols on the cards and tracks (although it requires zooming into the map to make them out). Great game! nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #3 nightc1, Dec 18, 2012 I picked up both of the iPhone versions when they went free... this is the lowest price of the iPad version though. That said, as TTR Europe Pocket with the Switzerland IAP set me back about NZ$1.29 in total, and buying those two boards for the iPad version would cost me another NZ$11.78, I'm going to be cheap and keep playing the Pocket version of that title until an IAP sale or I just decide I'm going to fork out. Just grabbed the Legendary Asia board a couple of minutes ago, though, as there isn't an iPhone version of that one to fall back on. That said, anybody who is interested in board games at all (and has an iPad) should be adding this to their collection, along with Carcassonne, Ghost Stories, Forbidden Isle, Small World, Elder Sign, Neuroshima Hex... Bryson Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2012 117 0 0 #6 Bryson, Dec 20, 2012 Come on guys really? How long was the game on sale for? A couple of hours? What kind of sale is that? Bah humbug! Appletini Well-Known Member Jan 8, 2011 2,564 0 0 Ankh-Morpork #7 Appletini, Dec 20, 2012 The DoW folks made it pretty clear that it was only ever going to be a one-day sale, and we were lucky to get even that much for the iPad version, given their track record. Card Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 818 6 18 Toronto Canada #8 Card, Dec 20, 2012 The good news is that if it goes on sale once... it will go on sale again. But it might not be for a while. Appletini Well-Known Member Jan 8, 2011 2,564 0 0 Ankh-Morpork #10 Appletini, Dec 20, 2012 Well, this was the first ever sale for the iPad version since it was released a year and a half ago, and it was only for one day, so people will probably be waiting that long again for the next one, which will also probably just be 24 hours long. When you're hitting the three-year mark in the pursuit of saving a couple of dollars on one game, it's time to take a probing look into The Mystery of the Missing Perspective. falcon815 Well-Known Member Jul 11, 2013 372 0 16 Chemist Indianapolis #11 falcon815, Jun 23, 2016 Bump, it's back down to $2. Locked this in, I learned how to play recently, and the app seems to have gone over well. carp New Member Dec 4, 2015 4 0 1 #12 carp, Jun 24, 2016 Thank you for posting this sale!
