    Greetings everyone ,
A month or so ago i posted a pic of a miniature sword I made (a hobby) A large inspiration for it was the sword from the game "hero of sparta" a massive really cool looking sword . Well adding my own touches i engraved it in Elder Futhark Runes,(ancient writing 200 A.D used by Vikings) and named it "Norse kings sword". To push this further, I made the base look like stelagmites or icicles (Sword in the cave kind thing) . What it say's in the Eldar Futhark language is this
"HAGALAZ ,URUZ, WUNJO, RAIDO, SOWULO, MANNAZ "
Translated to english it say's this
" Hail Strength, Invite glory and wisdom,Journey to salvation manifest true self".... pretty cool ! .
Each character is also done in brass and mounted on geode slices on the stand base.the sword is made from stainless steel, brass , synthetic gemstones and bakelite composite, The stand is made from plexiglass (each piece individually) . The Axe i made a few years ago but thoght it fit the pic. Honestly i'm glad its done cause the plexi glass was a pain (litterally) to work with, but using it gave me the effect i was looking for.
    Enjoy, thanks for looking...

It looks awesome, you must be an expert craftsperson x3
It's hardly distinguishable for the swords that sell for thousands of ¥ here.

    Amazing!
You should give up your normal job and makes and sell these mini weapons.
I'm sure you would make a lot of money from it.

Actually I do sell them, but they take a while to make. This one for instance took about 4 months from start to finish. Just recently I sold a jewel encrusted "9 ring dao" and before that a type of samurai sword called a "tachi koshirae", those went for between 3 to 4 hundred each. Everythings done 100% by hand.

    Oh, right.
So it's a 'hobby' you make lot's of money out of. Well that's a good hobby, I wish I had one like that ;).

So how did you get into it?
Did you get taught by a relative, did you go to some class or did you just find out yourself?

I started doing it whe i was 14, pretty much self taught. I just one day wanted to make a sword, I got back into it about 4 yrs ago. I make custom stuff by request, but alot of what i have sold are my own designs pretty much
