    If this is the version we'll be getting, it'll be a bit of a let down as far as I can tell. It's only playable in portrait mode and the controls are iffy. Specifically movement.

    ^Yep. Portrait only is very strange and the dead zone on the virtual joystick is enormous. Even if you switch to the smaller one.

    It's a really low effort port of the 2004 release they did for Japanese feature phones. That's why it's portrait-only, that's why the directional pad has a big dead zone in the middle (to simulate the button in the middle on old feature phones), and that's also why it looks so grainy... there's some terrible scaling and stretching going on due to the difference in resolution.

    Unfortunately, we can probably expect 1, 2, and 3 to all be like this, as they all had feature phone versions. 4/5/6/7/8 were never ported, so there's a better chance of those being better versions.
