I cant find a list, so maybe we can come up with one.

I am looking for games that has no long term upgrade system of any kind that affects gameplay (not even increasing multipliers like in Ronin or Tiny Wings), just bare bones high scorer which is the same sytem from the first time you load the game.

Also, no IAPs except to unlock full version of sorts (like 1800's remove ads).

    On to the list:

    Boson X
    Super Hexagon
    Duet
    Infinite
    Expander
    1800
    Melodive
    Pivvot
    PUK
    Hundreds
    Canabalt
    Mr. Ninja
    Tilt to Live
    Fireball SE
    Attack of the Spooklings
    Eve of Impact
    Pix N Luv Rush
    Monsters Ate My Condo

Feel free to add to this list, and challenge those that are in the list that shouldnt be. Thanks for your help!

Im really addicted to this game type recently, and would want to expand my library, as well as help others who love this type of gameplay style as well.

Wouldn't Slayin be considered to have an upgrade system, or are you simply referring to a score multiplier.

Thanks Retro! Great additions to the list.

I also just remembered Pivvot, and Eternal Descent: Heavy metal Heroes

Those arent long term as they are part of the core game. They are available on each of the playthroughs, and dont carry over to the next games. Or do they?

Been a while since i played Slayin.

EDIT: Ah... I forgot you actually have to unlock the continue which affects the game significantly. Removing Slayin from the list.

So are we talking just high score chasers or any game without upgrade systems? There are obviously puzzle games like Strata and 10. But not sure if those aren't really high score games. Pure arcade style games like Forget Me Not probably fit the bill (don't think there's multipliers in that).

I'd have to think about it some more.

Question. Are you just looking for those games with short playing sessions or can they be longer too?

It's tilt only but I would add EEK! to the list.

    Edit: and Ztatiq

I love EEK! but it does have an increasing multiplier, depending on how many of the achievements you've completed. :)
