I have to admit that I dislike the "fancy pixely" art of today. It doesn't feel nostalgic and some of the pixel artists use an unlimited color palette, which is pretty much like cheating. The developers of Organ trail re-created the Apple ][ graphics perfectly and their work is amazing and very nostalgic. And they had to use a 15 color palette! This is what I find truly fantastic.
