Does anyone know the answer to this? I'm interested in getting the PC version but wondering about whether there will be updates or not.

Not 100% sure if it is the same version as the mobile release but it should be since it is using the same Unity codebase. Also available from VODO at 30% off until the end of the month:

Plus demos available if you want to give it a go first:

    PC - iOs integration please

I bought the PC version of the game and as if that was not enough time liching, I was wondering if you could integrate the iOS version with the PC.
Maybe by creating account. It would be amazing to be able to continue my quest wherever and whenever!
    Thanks

I know I'm way late to this party. Picked this up on a recommendation from a friend and I thought it looks pretty cool.

Is there a guide on how this game works? Am I missing a tutorial?

Looking for some beta testers for a new update. It was originally just going to be a content update, but to comply with the new 64-bit rules for the app store, I had to make some architectural changes as well, so it's pretty likely to be buggy. If you're interested, shoot me an e-mail at dreamquestgame at gmail and let me know the e-mail address you'd like me to add on testflight.

    Thanks!
    Peter

Hi, Peter! Glad to know the progress of the update!
I know little about 64-bit rules, does that mean the testers should be using iOS 8 or newer?

Congrats to Hearthstone, especially, since I foresee the game reaping the graeter benefits from this union ;)

"After a long and fruitless search for a decent graphic designer, Peter Whalen took all his money earned with DreamQuest to purchase a game studio called Blizzard to help him out. Soon the Hearthstone tileset will be used in DreamQuest. "
Or did I get this wrong? #
Congrats and good luck with the new job!

A big fat congrats to Peter.

But thinking of my own selfish self, me and myself would've preferred him to work on his own games.
Hearthstone is hearthstone and will always be hearthstone. But bigger and better spin offs from dream quest. Well one can only imagine now....

    Regardless, congrats!

Not sure they're going to keep coming.
I think this dev moved to Blizzard to work on Hearthstone. And I think that I read that due to that this would be the final update?
    Never say never though.

And thrilled to have an update as well.

Big thanks for the surprise update! This is a cult game, which deserves more love.

Our family loves this and Hearthstone, so this move could be a a win win #

Really sad that we'll probably never see a Dream Quest 2, but the new update is amazing, and has gotten me addicted to this game all over again.

Thanks for all the hard work Peter and good luck at Blizzard!

Been interested in this game quite a while. Should I be worried to purchase since the developer is moving on?

Just buy it, if you like card battlers and/or rogue likes and can accept the graphics (which are at least functional and easy, if not pleasant, to read). My guess is that the dev would fix an IOS 9 incompatibility.

Also I would not wait for a sale, just go ahead.

It's my favorite iOS game of all time. Beneath the simple visual style is a gem of a game. There is so much to unlock, so many classes, and so much depth that I can't recommend this game more highly enough. The fact that the entire Hearthstone team was playing this game speaks volumes about the genius behind it. The game is very stable and complete in its current state.
