Seems like all the review sites want $$$.
I have a non-game App coming out and after applying on many sites, I get Email requesting $$$ for a review.
Anyone know "Honest" websites that will review a non-game App without charging?
    Thanks.

Wow! Really? I guess only a few sites makes a review for free.

  4. As far as I know, any legit game review site (ie TouchArcade or 148Apps) will NEVER charge you for a review. Instead, they make their money off of advertising and the community

    Just a friendly reminder

Obviously Touch Arcade, but if you are doing a non-game perhaps one of these will help you out:

Non-game? 148apps, Appadvice and GameZebo are great sites who don't charge for review for my part.

I'd be steering clear of sites that are charging you for reviews, whats their site ranking with Google?

I know for a fact that there are review sites that aren't after money.... All some want are the game/apps and to help the developers out.

I am a contributing writer for another site and one of the first things mentioned when I was being "interviewed" for the site was that this was a non-paying job.

I was obviously fine with it because my day job limits me from writing at a pace that would justify payment in return. But, mirroring Trig's comments, I too, am intrigued by certain apps and games and seek out a review. I have an obligation to provide an honest review to both the developer (on what is outstanding and what can be improved) and the public who would possibly be wondering if the software would be a good fit for them.
