Android Gamers, what is your current Top 10?

  1. I am very curious what you Android players are playing right now. Can some of you list what your current top 10 games are? :)

What I've been playing lately (in no particular order):

    1) Backflip Madness - Ridiculously addictive, check out the TA plays to get a feel for it

    2) Beat Hazard - Fun to veg out to, and listen to music.

    3) Forever Lost - An adventure game kind of like "The Room", the puzzles have been pretty clever so far. Story is intriguing.

    4) Dungelot - Fun Rogue-like

    5) Pinball Arcade and Zen Pinball - I love pinball, YMMV

    6) Towel Fight 2 - Game is really fun, reminds me of "The Binding of Isaac".

    7) Elder Sign: Blood Omens - Love this game, based off a board game. Super polished and a blast to play.

    8) Super Hexagon - Some day I will pass the first level!

    9) Plague Inc - I mean, who doesn't want to destroy the planet?

    10) Skyriders - Fun tunnel racer, highly recommended.

Probably a different answer you'll get from others, since I've lived on iOS gaming for so long. But I'm playing a mix of games that I either couldn't play on my 3GS, are Tegra optimized or are Android exclusives that aren't on iOS. The Tegra really does make a huge difference, especially coming from a 3GS (would be curious to know how it compares to their iPad retina counterparts).

    So:

    1. Puddle (Tegra optimized, not on iOS)
    2. Expendable Rearmed (Tegra optimized, not on iOS)
    3. RPG Symphony of the Origin (not on iOS yet)
    4. Modern Combat 4 (couldn't play on my 3GS)
    5. Horn (Tegra optimized and couldn't play on my 3GS)
    6. Bard's Tale (Tegra optimized)
    7. Shadowgun: DeadZone (Tegra optimized and couldn't play on my 3GS)
    8. Zombie Driver (Tegra Optimized)
    9. DeProfundis (nice action RPG, Android exclusive)
    10. ExZeus 2 (Tegra optimized, Android exclusive)

I know it's limited to 10, but some others I've been playing either due to lack of space on my 3GS or I just wanted to play on a bigger screen like Asphalt 7 (which has some nice lighting effects that I'm not sure are on iOS), Real Racing 3, Dead Trigger (Tegra optimized), Cordy 2, The Dark Knight Rises, Alpha Squadron, Syder Arcade HD and Zen Pinball HD (with a Star Wars table, of course).

Other exclusives I've been playing are Mighty Dungeons, LightSpeeder (probably one of the best Tron imitations I've ever played), Auralux, and Starfleet Omega.

Sorry, know that's way more than you wanted, but guess I've been going on a binge since getting my Nexus 7. :)

    Top 10 Games

This is in no particular order, but at least the ten games I have been playing the most. I too have an older IOS device in the iPod Touch 4. Really enjoying my Nexus 7 to play them with the bigger screen and Tegra 3 power. Nevertheless, here is the list which is quite a mix of genres...

    1. Anomaly Warzone Korea
    2. Burt Destruction
    3. Vector
    4. Cubemen
    5. Cordy 2
    6. Skyriders
    7. Modern Combat 4
    8. Bobbing: Get Addicted Edition
    9. Nightmare Runner
    10. Syder Arcade HD

Hey awp69, how is "Symphony of the Origin"? I'm always curious on those Kemco games, but have yet to pull the trigger.

I'm not too far into it but so far I'm enjoying it. There really hasn't been a Kemco RPG that I haven't enjoyed - some may be better than others, but I think they're all good. This one seems to be the most polished yet.

I picked this up along with final fantasy dimensions, so I've got some serious jrpg-ing in my future.

Wow, so many cool recommendations in one thread :) Thanks folks. I only played a few games (and liked only Major Mayhem and Temple Run).

Strangely, even though in the long haul I'll probably like FFD better and it's much longer, I've found myself drawn to wanting to play Symphony of the Origin more.

Yeah, and right now FFD isn't opening on my phone, so looks like Origin will be first in the queue for me by default :)

Top 10 (not in order, except for top 2)
    1) NFS: Most Wanted
    2) Plague, Inc
    3) Shadowgun (Tegra-optimized)
    4) Rebuild
    5) Angry Birds - Star Wars HD
    6) Strikefleet Omega
    7) Real Racing 3
    8) Neuroshima Hex
    9) Great Big War Game
    10) Anomaly: Korea
    11) Call of Cthulhu: Wasted Land

Honorable Mention: Conquest! Medieval Realms, Waking Mars, Dead Meadow, Combat Mission: Touch, FIFA 12
Incomplete: God of Blades (just came out today!)

Okay, I know that's more than 10 but I couldn't leave Wasted Land off the list and I couldn't give anything else the boot. None of those are Android exclusive but I really am not that picky.

I tend to just play short bursts on my phone so here's just a few that others have not already mentioned:
    Triple Town
Mahjong and Friends (there's a free ver. Real mahjong, not that solitaire crap)
Cytus (come on, it's free! and amazing)
    Trainyard
    Super Hexagon
    All kairosoft games
    Puzzle Retreat

I am still looking for a decent rpg that I can pick up and play anytime without too much trouble getting back into the story...that and not a battery sucker. Will check out Symphony of the Origin and see how it goes.
