played our baby yesterday for more than 2 hours and really got into a flow. guess that's a good sign.
Ok, this is Nosferatu - the terrible vampire. This guy here is a "Garlien". As you can imagine, they don't like cute little vampires. Whenever Nosferatu goes up in the air to collect tons of coins, these troublemakers appear. These are humans. And Nosferatu likes to play with humans. He likes them soooo much, he turns them into Baby-Nosferatu's. This is a pirate. He has no name. Pirates don't need names, cause he's a pirate, ain't that so? This is Olga with the cutie dog Fumbler in her purse. We don't know for sure if Nosferatu likes her or the dog better. This one is Robin. He likes leather. And flowers. Ok, that's weird. This is Red Renata. What is she doing? Alone in the woods? At night? Probably going to her grandma... Meet them on February 29th on your iDevice.
What I see looks like casual game filth... but why can't I look away?!? [Warning: Even if this crap sells well don't forget your roots with Champions and Time of Heroes which catered to more methodical dedicated gamers; in a way you owe the market more strategic games because that is the market that got you where you are now... it's an unwritten App Store rule: I think].
Wow! This perfectly captures the mood and tone of the original Nosferatu movie! From the brutally gloomy colors down to the dreadful suspense, this game reflects every aspect of the classic 1922 German Expressionist horror film!
@master lee: cool, thank you! @undeadcow well, crap is a hard word. it's a different game. and no need to worry. we are still working on the second campaign for ToH. it'll come mid march. as to the "where you are now"...well you know, it showed that only a minority of the gamers out there are "dedicated gamers". at least thats what our numbers say. and if we don't try to spread as far as we can, there will sooner or later be no smuttlewerk around. that's the sad truth. ok, I see why you call yourself dr.sarcasm the film is great btw. have you seen the one from Werner Herzog, with Klaus Kinski as Nosferatu? Great one, too! -------------- on a side note, these are the supported languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (simplified)
I'm staring at the UK app store, but no Nosferatu yet. I've already had a lot of fun on several pre-release builds and it's the first iOS game that I've named, so I'm pretty excited about the release. Any Smuttle-guys around who can possibly give an estimated UK release time? Thanks!
yeah, we forgot to enable the GameCenter leaderboards during the upload. our fault. I hope it'll become available later this day.
Honestly I am looking forward to this too. It may be an endless runner but at least it's got a cool vampire character and appears to have a bit more depth/plot.
thx undeadcow. you bought our other games so I hope you'll like this one, too. When I play it I fall into a state of mind commonly known as "flow", which is something I like very much. First had this feeling while playing Mario Kart on the SuperNES back in '95...ah, the good ol' days.
