Yes! Off-line single player mode is available. Online connection need when you play boss fight with other online players.
Question: I see "guardian", "berserker", and "assassin" offered as your three classes - is there no mage class? :/
I'll be waiting until then to try the game, then. It seems like a bit of an odd choice to leave out one (assuming "assassin" is the typical rogue) of the classic three RPG classes, but oh well. More time to see impressions.
