Is it just me, or is Street Fighter IV hilarious? Because: 1. The Indian fighter, Dhalsim, says "Yoga yoga yoga yoga yoga" in a floating meditation stance when he wins. 2. The South American fighter is some mutated green thing that yells animal battle cries when it electrocutes you when you touch it. 3. The Chinese fighter, Chun Li, has legs three times the width of her head. 4. The concept of the "Hadoken." 5. All of the characters are from real countries with regular flags, except for M. Bison, whose flag is a skull on a red background. 6. Ryu's !%#$@!$#&^! win line "I still don't have what it takes. I must train harder!"
I believe it applies to all Street Fighter, not just SF IV. Ryu's win line starts to annoy me though, way too long compared to others'. In the console version they have different winning animations and lines, can't they at least give us 2 different lines for the iPhone? Or at least make it skippable if we win the 2nd round like if we win in first round. btw, why is hadouken concept funny? =o
are you serious? Not really, I remember playing it back on NES, my first and only SF before SF IV on iPhone
That's what I really don't know. I have quite a clear memory of playing it on NES with my cousin. She had a NES and I had Genesis so it couldn't have been SNES.
That was SF III, but from my memory we played SF II on NES. The character selection screen looks exactly like that though, so yeah, proly we played a dodgy version.
Dhalsim is a bit racist IMO he yells yoga when he Loses and says it when he blocks attacks. I never understood what he says when he wins, sounds like "yo"
this is a dang bootleg game, look at Chun-li, shes not even all there! the real street fighter III didnt even come out until long after the NES died..
Yeah, I've played those sorts of games. They're some weird bootleg/homebrew game from China or something. I've played a street fighter one (2010 and some other one) and a couple of Mortal Kombat ones, and they were pretty much broken. I think there's one of Tekken 2 if I'm right, for both the NES and SNES.
yeah, they must be. *side note - I miss the days of having to put quarters on the arcade screen to lock in the next game.
I already said in my previous version it was most likely a dodgy version. And it wasn't SF III, I played SF II, though still, it didn't come out until a few years later on SNES. Yeah she got them from a 20-in-1 cartridge. We still had fun though, and we still remember Dhalsim, ChunLi, Blanka or Guile clearly back from that game.
