The developer of Hit The Button RPG here. I just released my action RPG. It's a fun little hack'n'slash game with a unique twist: all character actions are done with a single button - but it's not a mindless button bashing game as the length and frequency determine what the character does. All the "standard" action RPG stuff is of course included; character progression via stat points, randomly generated loot, different monster types and variants (giant, ice etc), ultra rare boss encounters and so on. Hope you enjoy it, and remember: keep calm and hit the button Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel panfried Well-Known Member Oct 2, 2013 101 1 18 #2 panfried, Oct 1, 2015 Requires ios 9, I'll try it out if I ever upgrade. Luciferus New Member Oct 5, 2015 2 0 0 #3 Luciferus, Oct 5, 2015 Liked it Cool man though I felt a little sorry for the monsters cause most of them are actually cute. I've only played a few levels but so far looking good. So are there any easter eggs hiding in there? If not that might be a little too boring even for this type of game other then that it's great clicker RPGs are my guilty pleasure and this one is pretty darn enjoyable so far Grimstone82 Well-Known Member Jan 3, 2011 594 0 0 Northbrook, IL #5 Grimstone82, Oct 5, 2015 Didn't even get past the pop-up that says you share my information with other advertisers. Since I am using Google's AdMob to display ads, I feel it's only fair to be open about the usage of cookies (instead of hiding it in some 40-page EULA). As far as I know, any game using AdMob should show similar pop-up, at least to the European players. Grimstone82 Well-Known Member Jan 3, 2011 594 0 0 Northbrook, IL #8 Grimstone82, Oct 5, 2015 Just ad mob? The pop up made it sound so much more nefarious lol. My bad, it seems I should have inquired before passing judgement. Gonna download again and give it an actual fair chance this time. Then there are also some ultra rare encounters, which aren't exactly 'easter eggs' but still very exciting once you bump into them. Perhaps I'll start dropping hints on how to improve your chances on getting those encounters... teemuprkl Member Oct 1, 2015 12 0 0 #11 teemuprkl, Oct 14, 2015 Hello! Update for Hit The Button RPG is now live. I have made some important balancing tweaks so now agility and stamina based builds should be more viable. Also, new monster types will start appearing earlier and there will be better loot as well. Have fun! Repulsa Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2015 1,582 79 48 #12 Repulsa, Nov 2, 2015 Please ad iPad support! I would love to be able to play this on my iPad as well teemuprkl Member Oct 1, 2015 12 0 0 #13 teemuprkl, Nov 3, 2015 Thanks for the suggestion! Currently the game runs on iPad in compatibility mode but a native iPad version would of course make it possible to fully utilize the larger screen space. I wonder which would be preferred from the native iPad version: everything in higher resolution or perhaps keep the character and monster sizes the same but show a lot more of the surrounding forest? Repulsa Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2015 1,582 79 48 #14 Repulsa, Nov 3, 2015 Probably everything in higher resolution cause some people are so picky but I love this game and would just be happy to have an iPad version at all LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,286 1 38 #15 LordShad0wz, Nov 3, 2015 I wish it would support iOS 8 hehe Harpua Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2009 233 8 18 #16 Harpua, Jan 8, 2016 This may be the dumbest question ever, but how do you use the health potions during gameplay? Just wanted to let you know I've released Hit The Button RPG 1.1.0 and it should be available on the App Store very soon. Along with some smaller updates, the big feature in 1.1.0 are the new weapon drops from monsters. Weapons add player character stats like any other equipment but the higher quality weapons can also have "chance on hit" type effects like stun and chain lightning spells which add their own spice into the action NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #19 NOEN, Feb 23, 2016 Huh.
