At the same time I do kind of like the art style in this, whereas normally I can't stand most games that do the retro look. Ordinarily it just strikes me as lazy but this, along with a randomly generated world... Might give it a shot. Advanced User New Member Sep 27, 2012 2 0 0 #12 Advanced User, Sep 27, 2012 Yep, no combat. Save and rescue (SAR) missions instead. The fun is in controls and flying - if you have both iPad and iPhone/iPod, it fun to use play wirelessly on iPad using iPhone/iPod as a remote. I like the idea. I hope it's as great as you guys are making it seem EDIT: I've been playing a bit this last hour and I love the idea. Relaxed missions where you have to find objects/people the boss wants, but also controlling the fuel you have left, the helicopter's integrity, the height at which you fly, cargo space left and many other factors. Just great, and with random maps it means loads of replayability. I think that the absence of a machine gun nor any kind of violence (aside from crashing the heli) is great, because it lets you concentrate in the sim factors of the game which I mentioned before. I don't regret the $1 spent on it. I hope the game sells, honestly. Pilot's Path Member Sep 5, 2012 16 0 0 #17 Pilot's Path, Sep 28, 2012 Aww, thanks guys, glad you're liking it. I was a bit worried about no combat but works fine without. My only complaint would be things seem too zoomed out on a third gen iPad when compared to the screenshots, is there any way to adjust this? It kills a bit of the character. Enjoying it though, nice work Issac Well-Known Member May 20, 2011 229 0 0 #19 Issac, Sep 29, 2012 Last edited: Sep 29, 2012 Pilot's Path. <removed> VirtualBoyFreak Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Apr 26, 2011 4,788 75 48 Spain #20 VirtualBoyFreak, Sep 29, 2012 Hey devs, some questions: 1. What are the IAP "gifts" supposed to do? Cheaper objects? A new helicopter? Maybe you could clear it out so that we can decide if we buy them or not. 2. How do you open new scenearios? I only have the 1st one unlocked (jungle, I think). Btw: I'm enjoying the game a lot at the moment. Very zen and great for quick plays (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
