Hello, TouchArcade fellows, I was trying to submit my game (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/gomine-io) to [email protected] email, but I keep getting "54 5.7.1 Filter Rule 16 - Global REJECT Filter Macro 18252" error. Anyone knows what's going on? Thanks, Terry
Do you have the full error message/header? My first guess is the spamfilter doesn't like your link. Try again with an Appstore link if that works?
Thank you, I guess you are right. I removed product hunt link, youtube link and google drive link, and it seems working fine now. Yep, that's a spamfilter. spamh.com is Spamhaus, one of - if not the biggest spamfilter organisations out there. Google for the filter message 554 5.7.1 Filter Rule 16 - Global REJECT Filter Macro 18252 gave me this old TA link: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=1423083&postcount=31 At the bottom it mentions "What I did is to add spamh.com as a ptr mechanism in my SPF record. Although I'm not sure I have to do such a thing it did the trick" . Worth a try, if you have that much control over your mailserver. Also, I think links to Google and Apple Appstores should go through.
