From the write up and screenshots I have no idea how that works. But since multiple people have said it, it's either true or a group of friends have a few minutes to kill. jeffyg3 Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2010 1,251 0 36 #4 jeffyg3, Jul 23, 2011 Last edited: Jul 23, 2011 I thought I'd try it at 99cents. Deleted after about 30 minutes of play. Gameplay is pretty mediocre and boring. Gameplay is like a copy cat of Mirrors Edge, but it just doesn't have the good level designs and good action of ME. There's not very much challenge to it, and the enemies feels like objects in your way you can easily overcome...it's not fun or exciting like it is in ME. I can't imagine many gamers really liking this one very much, even Captain American fans. At 99cents...I don't think it's even worth a purchase. The post is from about an hour ago; however, when I click the applink, the game is still priced at $5. Any time frame when to expect the price drop? Sorry about that. ak47killa Well-Known Member Feb 26, 2011 642 0 0 #8 ak47killa, Jul 23, 2011 I was gonna pick up when the price dropped. But I guess I cant go to sleep for a few hours. That just pisses me off. Now I say it. Never gonna buy. CygnetSeven Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 7,585 30 48 #9 CygnetSeven, Jul 24, 2011 Back to $1. Who knows how long. dib Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2011 307 0 16 #10 dib, Jul 24, 2011 Last edited: Jul 25, 2011 The game model wouldn't be bad if they just paid more attention to the source material. As stated, the level design isn't as good as ME and the controls aren't as great either. ME allows one to transition from a slide to running by swiping up--in this game it causes him to jump. Fighting enemies is a process of tapping a virtual button then swiping multiple times, which breaks up the action rather than enhancing it. I don't think it's a bad game for $1, but I couldn't recommend anybody pay $5 considering how far that can go on the app store. Mirror edge is way better. injuwarrior Well-Known Member Apr 18, 2011 1,502 0 0 USA #12 injuwarrior, Jul 28, 2011 Got this a few days ago, played a few levels, and I am really not impressed. It lags a bit too much, and it is one of three games since I bought games on to the appstore that has crashed. If the issues are worked out, it actually could be a decent to solid Mirror's Edge clone. Definitely only a recommend if someone really wants more Mirror's Edge, or is a Cap fan.
