OK, so I'm looking for some really fun board games for my iPad to play with my buds. I already have BoardBox, Scrabble, and Strategery. I know about Carcassonne. Any others?
Tesserae HD Any oldie from way back but a good puzzle game. Could use some better sound effects like the original and better end game screens (whether win or lose) but the play is solid. There is a lite version you can check out for free. Rich

Be on the look out for Catan when that comes out. It was announced recently. I love the Settlers of Catan the board game. I heard there was a clone of the Hive boardgame but that might have been for the iPhone and I think taken down as it was done without permission? Bummer as I play the Hive board game a lot. It's tile board game, like Carcassonne although more abstract.
The non-HD lite version is now the FULL GAME (just with banner ads). I like how they use such a clever but simplistic scoring system to track your best results for all 18 possible game variations (total moves taken + tiles left with the lower the number the better). Seems that they are indeed going to release a free copy of the game to any iPad users that have bought the game for the iPhone , those that wait for it to come to the ipad will have to pay 9.99 as a posed to the current 4.99 . I have never played this game before but it does look very interesting , can't wait to try it ! Having said that , I am looking forward to hearing more replies as to any good board games out for the iPad Qordobo Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 1,609 0 0 #13 Qordobo, Aug 14, 2010 Where have you read that? Great board game- I had never played the original cardboard version but it's certainly addictive. As mentioned, Carcassonne and Roll Through the Ages are both great: good to see you picked up Carc. It seems like that one has set the bar for how board games should be adapted for iPhone / iPad. RTtA also has a free universal update on the way like Carc, and so if you are interested best to pick it up now while it is cheaper. On these forums there is a thread on the upcoming WWTouch (not out yet), which looks like it will be a blast. Kind of an Axis & Allies clone but with a few unique twists. quantumclockwork Member Aug 8, 2010 10 0 0 http://quantumclockwork.net #19 quantumclockwork, Aug 16, 2010 You can try my board games, Morris & Tablut.
