Or to port Finalburn to the iPhone. It runs just great on faster Pocket PC's - see http://www.modaco.com/content/smartphone-software-games/247894/finalburn-for-wince-0-014/ . You might want to ask the dev of the WinMo port, masterall, to help in the iPhone port. It's able to run most Metal Slug games at full speed on my 624 MHz Dell Axim x51v. I've also published several articles on the emulator BTW.
I'd pay good money for a Metal Slug compilation... I suppose a brand new game could work but it seems to me the series has gotten gardually worse with each release.

I would love Contra to come out, except thinking of using virtual controls for a game like Contra makes me cringe >_< I'd still play it though, even if it made it more brutally hard than the originals. What I'd really like to see from Konami are some Castlevania games
I'd be satisfied with a compilation of any of the two, but I think an original game would be better cause people wouldn't be complaining that that Iphone deserves more than just ports

I dont care about contra or metal slug, but bringing up SNK makes me remember another game i wouldnt mind seeing brought over: CRYSTALIS
