ok i got like 11 pages full of apps in my ipod touch 2G and i went to go buy a game in the APP store but after i click buy now and went to home screen, the game aint there and when i went to go check in the app store, it says installed but i dont see it anywhere in my Home screen. Is there a way to add more apps after reaching the limit?
Search with spotlight, I put all my apps in alphebetic order, and use spotlight for the latter half of the alphabet.
Not that I know of. Delete apps you don't use, as I simply cant imagine that you regularly use 9 pages of apps. Remember, if you delete them you can still sync them on again through itunes if you feel the need. Deleting it from the iPod doesn't void your purchase, lol Edit: Spotlight. Also, screw those guys above me. I type slow, dang nabbit.
Does this mean you can have more than 180 apps installed? And be able to access those that won't fit with spotlight?
ok spotlight search does find the game even though it doesnt show in the home screen because of the app limit, but how do you delete the apps that arent in the Home screen?
You can delete them from iTunes. Just go to the Applications tab when you are viewing your iDevice in iTunes (not the Applications view under Library), there you will see an option to just sync selected Apps. Just uncheck the apps you want to delete from your iDevice.
Wouldn't your iPhone be extremely laggy with more than 11 pages?? Seriously who needs 11+ pages of apps at once I have only 5 pages and a half and already experience some lag. I only have a few graphic-intensive games...
ok but i also wanted to know how do you Update game Apps while using Categories when the games are in a folder instead of them being in the Home Screen.
i just use the search function and type in one letter. i dont know the exact algorithm the it follows to get the search results but i think it includes all apps and emails and whatever else that contain that letter and excludes items that only end in the letter. im not sure though.but after you type in the letter you can scrool the list it find what you want. i am curious what is this spotlight i dunno about that i want an splaination now . okay i can wait but splaining now would be nice edit: oh i see what that is now. i like the 3.0
