This is usually when a lot of hurt feelings over pocket change emerge. I am going to start complaining if I don't start seeing hate in this thread towards these devs for screwing over the early adopters. Oh yeah, just bought at the sale price!!!! Woo! CookingPie Well-Known Member Mar 25, 2014 177 0 16 #7 CookingPie, Dec 13, 2015 if the launch price was $5 then a $1 sale would be a hard slap in the face to the early adopters, but knocking off $1 from an already cheap $2, must be a celebration or someones birthday or just that time of year when everyone drops their prices, no? Off topic: I don't really care for this game that much.. It is horribly repetitive, and sucks the soul out of me. This is coming from a guy who is not attracted to shmup's, in general. I bought it after all the fanboys were hyping it up. I will play it on rare occasions, possibly. This game also does a very good job of heating up my battery (iPad mini-2) to the point of concern. cerbo Well-Known Member Feb 7, 2015 81 0 0 #9 cerbo, Dec 13, 2015 I think Art in Games' may have erred by making AirAttack 1 free last week. IMO the first game is OK but not even close to being in the same league as AA2, so one might imagine that tactic failed to help AA2. @matyou98 The hard turn towards aggressive marketing does not annoy me either, since I already bought the game. In fact I am thrilled to have a front row seat in this business school mini-course on conquering the App Store :-D zergslayer69 Well-Known Member Apr 21, 2010 1,211 3 38 #10 zergslayer69, Dec 13, 2015 Even though I got it for regular price I don't feel I was ripped off. Game actually deserves a higher price tag. $2 is very cheap for what this game offers, and this price drop is a steal. Thanks for clearing up that you arent a fan of shmups in general, coz every shmup has that repetitive aspect in them that makes them great for players who wish to replay for high scores and objectives. Back in the day, every coin inserted in an arcade shmup's coin slot is the same exact game, yet we never stopped dropping coins for them, even buy the ports to have them in our phones and tablets again. Repetitive, but that is a part of the shmup's general mechanics that make it great. Here's what you may have missed though... For a shmup, this is actually one of the most varied i have ever played. There are no shooting and all-maze/evade modes, there are veried boss fights, tons of varied objectives on each stage, hitbox-sensitive structures that get destroyed part by part wherever you hit them, chase scenes, the tailgun mode, the different specials and wingman options, the daily challenges and stages, and it is rare for a shmup to have more than 15 stages, and this one has 22 main story stages. I have burned through many, many, many rolls of quarters (tokens) in my time. For that, I am understanding of your connection to the genre. See, this (right here) is why I downloaded the darn game in the first place. You are a hellava salesman, and you are doing the game a great justice with your vivid and truthful descriptions. Thank you for reminding me of why I will be keeping this in my library to re-vist on the oh-so-rare-occasion. Thanks again. It's price is a steal (1 or 2 dollars/euro). It has destructible buildings in retina high resolution and many stages and it's NOT repetitive (it's a shoot em up not a rpg). It's like we could say that a racing is repetitive because you always drive?! Absolutely No. Even if this price it's almost free ! No iaps, no pay2win solutions, etc. Support the developer to see more premium titles that actually worth buying them!
