Hold on to your wallets and clear the old games out this month. I know I will, because the list of games I want, that are releasing in december, is pretty long:

Aralon: Sword and Shadow est $9.99 (Crescent Moon)
    Infinity Blade est $9.99 (Epic)
Real Racing 2 est $9.99 (Firemint)
    Nova 2 est $7.99 (Gameloft)
    Battlefield BC2 est $9.99 (EA)
Dungeon Hunter 2 est $7.99 (Gameloft)
    Dead Rising est $9.99 (EA)
    Eternal Legacy est $7.99 (Gameloft)
    Shadow Guardian est $7.99 (Gameloft)
    D.A.R.K. est $4.99 (Chillingo)
Dead Space 2 est $9.99 (EA)

That's going to cost an estimated $97 ($96.89).

It's only going to cost me $36 from that list, or maybe $41.

I would add 'Black Ops' Zombie Arcade in there, but I'll just disappoint myself.

Yea I'm only spending $28 on that list for sure. The rest I can wait for and soak in all the impressions from others. I'm not one of those gamers that needs to be first to play a game.

Stopped buying games at full price 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. :D

I like waiting for $2.99 - $0.99 sales, which always happen.

The only games out of that list I'm interested in are NOVA 2 and Dead Space 2 (any news on this game?)... Maybe interested in Infinity Blade.

I think I will spend around $30 for the month of December. Maybe more if there are a lot of goodies for sale :D

Only about half the games on your list have actually have been officially been given a December release date. The other half could be released next year.
Also you forgot Asphalt 6. And that will definitely be released in December.

Aren't Gameloft games usually $6.99 at launch and not $7.99?

You're right, I created this thread when I was very tired and messed up the pricing. Thanks for spotting that one.

I'm definitely in for some of these right when they come out like Shadow Guardian, Nova 2, and Infinity Blade. The rest I'll either wait for price drop or good reviews.

I know what you're talking about. I got Real Racing 1 at full price $9.99 and it took more than a year for it to drop to $4.99. Firemint knows the quality of their work, and though I may have slight doubts about the other titles, I know for a fact that this will be the best racing game for iOS and that I won't be disappointed. Maybe even into the next year. (Aralon is another no-doubter).

Aralon, Infinity Blade, and DH 2 are my three "must haves". The rest I'll just add to my appshopper.com wish list.

Aralon, NOVA 2, and DH 2. Are the only ones I'll be getting right away, the rest I'll wait and maybe pick up one or two of the others if they even release this december.

Lol. One of the nice things about being selective is that you never end up spending too much in the app store. The only games I kind of care about getting are Infinity Blade, The Shadow Sun, Real Racing 2. and maybe Aralon.

EA games haven't launched at $10 for ages. Although, as far as I'm aware this will be their first FPS, and first game with multiplayer, so could be $10...

I would contend that not a single game on that list releases for 9.99

If it's EA, then it will cost 4.99. Everything else 6.99, at most.
